After The Business Idea

We have found a great business idea, and have spoken with some very insightful people we can trust. They believe that our idea is really a good one and that they believe to should go ahead with it. Now that we got some additional motivation and supporters in our corner for our business idea, what d we do next? Should we go right ahead with a business plan, seek funding and start providing our product or service to the market? We probably would want to slow it down a little here.

Now that we have some support for our idea, this does not mean that we are all ready to start and business selling that idea right away. We and our confidants like this idea, but will the wider market like it as well? Who would want to buy this idea in the form of a product or service? Can we create a business out of this idea? At this stage, these are some of the questions we should be asking ourselves.

The next step then is to find a way to validate the idea in the marketplace - ensuring that people actually would want to buy this idea in a product or service. We should first figure out how to build a business around this idea. Then move to find a market that this idea would solve a need or problem for.

After completing the aforementioned marketplace idea and business model validation, then we may start thinking about the other major things such as actual experimentation and testing in the marketplace with the use of the most minimal version of our product or service we can create. This we shall discuss further in a future article.
